About This Item

The Gen II Dakota Travel Bug (front)

This is the Gen II Dakota Travel Bug; a participant in the Dakota Mailing List's 10th Anniversary Travel Bug Race. It is racing from Colorado to New York (against three other travel bugs), and is representing the Gen II Dakota - those trucks built from 1991 to 1996.

This particular travel bug is based on DML'er Ray Block's 1992 Dodge Dakota V8 Sport. (You can check out the actual truck at http://tinyurl.com/rgf5q)

Note: the tracking number has been printed on the back side of the travel bug itself, just in case it becomes separated from the tag. As such, if you take a picture of this travel bug, please be sure to only take a picture of the front side, and also please be sure that the tracking number on the dog tag is not visible in your photo either. Thanks!

The Gen II travel bug has been retrieved by another DML member who was present when it was originally launched in Colorado just last month. Funny how this TB made it past it's mission destination to within 30 miles of my home. When I saw it near by, I just had to pick it up.
