About This Item

TB: California-bound 'Babe'

Sharon, from SC, wants to visit her MUCH OLDER sister in Roseville, CA, but hasn't been able to wrangle an invitation. So, she hopes to drop in unannounced via the Travel Bug route. You can help. If the Bug makes it to Roseville, a Geocaching friend might be able to retrieve it and make the final delivery. Thanks for the lift. Canuman

I am so happy you joined the two parts together. I will be watching this TB to see if it makes it my way again. Well done!!

Grabbed this with much help (above and beyond the call of duty) from STPWindy in chilly MN. Will join it with its long-lost other half which is now in the hands of the intended recepient (imawahl). The parts will be joined in AZ and become one again. Thanks to everyone who helped us keep track of the two pieces and who made gallant efforts to help the TB reach its goal. Stay tuned. Canuman and Sharon.

I am California-bound 'Babe's sister who has been waiting for this TB to arrive forever. Today, thanks to 4Wheeler, who brought the half with my sister's picture on a button to Roseville, CA where I live from Southern CA, I was able pick up part of the TB. The other half is still in Minnesota where the TB's tag and button got separated. As soon as the tag arrives in Roseville, CA, I will have the whole TB and California-bound 'Babe' will have arrived.

I dropped off the button half of the bug today on I-5. It's now in Koala Quencher (GC13H67). Hopefully someone else can take it farther north soon.

Well, I picked up a bug with this tracking number that looks exactly like what's pictured on this page from MightyDee and n6uzs at the e Night Comes Before pi Day Event in Huntington Beach, CA. And I'm driving north on I-5 this week, so I can get it closer to Roseville. But it's missing an actual travel bug tag (the number's written on the back of the Sharon button and the SC tag). So apparently the button got separated from its tag, which ended up in MN. It looks like there will be some dueling travel bug action unless the owner wants to facilitate a reunion of some sort? I'd be happy to mail it somewhere (or receive mail) but otherwise, I'll just drop it off this week. Best of luck on its myriad of travels!
