Current Goal

Looking to explore single tracks trails that are bike friendly. Extra bonus points if mountain bikes and motor bikes are permitted. Hoping to stay in Southern California, however, out and back Moab-like experiences are appreciated.

About This Item

This handy little compass may get you to a cache if your batteries die. The incredible bell may keep someone from running into you around the blind curves or help your buddies find you if you roll off into a ditch.

John Chen of Geoteaming gave each of us geotechs a virgin travel bug as a tip. A touch of class.

It is with great regret that I need to inform you that this Travel Bug has been kidnapped.
A list of demands is in the working and when the demands have been met your travel bug will be returned to a cache to continue its journey.

One of the main reasons for the kidnapping is the actions of a cheating geocacher named xterracacher who also goes by the name cachiere

The first demand is for the administrators of www.vigps.com to allow an account to be formed in the name of geojihad.
There will also be a new forum subject called "Kidnapped Cacher" created and it is there that you (one of 28 kidnapped travel bug owners) will be able to watch the negotiations for the secure release of the hostages.

There will be no further contact with you regarding your travel bugs.
All correspondense will be done at www.vigps.com on the forum board (yet to be created) called Kidnapped Cache
