Trading place Knowing I'd be parting with the coin to let someone else move it along, who better than O.J. Simpson to put some miles on this coin. Figured if I came here, where he's been known to hang, he might decide it belonged to him and 'discover' it. Didn't work, but we had a good time talking to the workers inside about the recent events. Took a couple of pictures of the coin on a Poker machine, but they didn't come out. They don't like cameras in the casinos either. I know.

Vegas The coin's been here twice before, so there was no point in taking many pictures. What you can barely see is the city of Las Vegas way back there on the left and the Las Vegas NASCAR track in front.

Remember this guy? Way back on day one we ran into him at the Typhoon Saloon. Apparently he's been following us and he's still angry, looking for a fight. Tenacious fellow. We slipped away without incident.

The coin See... we still have it. This is in Lefty's Hideout, a Mexican restaurant in Cedar City, Utah. Not a bad place.

Narrow trail Here's part of the Xterra on a narrow trail just as it finished getting us to a cache. Ms. PP did not like this trail last year - a drop-off down an embankment on one side and a drop-off into a canal on the other - she still does not like it.

Trying to photograph the snow It hadn't got to the point where it was accumulating on the ground, it did that a few minutes later. I tried - like a Sunny California idiot - to get a picture of the snow coming towards the windshield. Obviously, I still need to work on that.

Utah - snow Yep... as we were driving it started to snow. I thought I was going crazy, having little exposure to snow, I didn't know it could snow with the sun shining, but it was. I had to pull over to be sure, in shorts of course.

Last one at that rest stop Just as we were leaving we could hear and feel a faint rumble of a locomotive coming up the canyon. Waited around to see it go by.
