Cache view of Raglan Castle Raglan Castle: 1646 and the end of the Civil War - but only after a prolonged siege of the 800-strong Royalist garrison by the Parliamentarians ... just a few (?!) years before the American Civil War!

P is for Pub(UK) The George Inn in Norton St Philip was built in the 14th century.It was part of a stage coach route between London and South West England and was the headquarters of the Duke of Monmouth's army during the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685.
