At the Shwedagon pagoda in Rangoon See everything in the picture that looks like gold? It's gold. The central pagoda is over 300 feet tall and completely covered in gold leaf, as are the surrounding lesser pagodas. It's another incredible place to visit...it's just too bad Burma has such a shady government.
