Uphill Straight Between Turns 6 and 7 The uphill straight you see in the background is quite critical in maintaining sector time, since mistake in exiting Turn 6 and/or a slightly mistuned engine will result in major loss of momentum. This is the final approach to Turns 8 and 8A, the famous "Corkscrew."
