This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Road Trip Racer is a Travel Bug Origins - United States Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

PLEASE HELP! We are in a desperate race againt our evil in-laws. The Road Trip Racer is on its way to northeast Oregon and is competing to be the first travel bug from Surrey, British Columbia to reach the scenic city limits of Enterprise, Oregon. If you would be so kind and assist the Road Trip Racer on its journey we would be most grateful (if you knew our in-laws you would understand). There are many appropriately-sized caches within the city limits of Enterprise that would love to see Road Trip Racer cross the finish line and win the race. But even moving the Road Trip Racer a little closer toward its goal and final destination would be helpful and much appreciated.

The reward for finally getting the travel bug to Enterprise is actually the visit to this part of Oregon, a popular tourist destination (www.wallowacountychamber.com). The unending views and diverse geography of Wallowa County are stunningly beautiful in all seasons. It's labeled one of the official "7 Wonders of Oregon" because the county is home to the Eagle Cap Mountains (called Little Switzerland), Hells Canyon, numerous mountain streams and rivers, a thriving little arts community and the crown jewell of all Oregon lakes, the famous Wallowa Lake. Perhaps best of all, there are literally hundreds of geocaches that can lead you to the many special places in the county.

So help us defeat the in-laws and take a real road trip to gorgeous Wallowa County in northeast Oregon. Thanks! And if you're interested in the race, Road Trip Racer is competing against Red Racer. The reference number for that vile tavel bug is TB60Q07. Please don't bring it to Enterprise! We'll never be able to live it down if Red Racer beats Road Trip Racer.
