This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

My Father Was A Cheapskate is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

My father gave me this cheap watch the day before he sent me off to Michigan State University.  It broke the first day I was there during a football game in the dorm yard of Hubbard Hall.  I never wound or wore it again and he never asked about it...probably because he knew it was so cheap.  Don't get me wrong, He sent me to school and raised me without want and I am not ungrateful.....he was just a cheapskate.  Example:  His good friend's son got married and my Dad bought him a couple hundred dollar gift.  At my marriage, the first thing he asked me was what did his friend get us.  I told him an answering machine and he blurted out "  that cheap screw".  

 

So, I hope this watch travels the world in memory of my cheapskate Dad.
