This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

TassieBR: Herbie the Racing Bug is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

To prove Volkswagens can win any race :) Including the Tassie bug race of 2k5 :) So please race me back to Tasmania, Australia as quick as you can.

Rules: 1. Racing bugs must be logged into at least one cache in the US (in addition to the initial release cache).
2. The bug racer has to be placed in at least 5 caches by 5 different geocachers, and in at least one country other than Australia and the US.
3. Virtual caches will not count towards fulfilling the criteria in 1 & 2.
4. The racing bug may not be posted back to Australia.
5. The geocacher that grabs the travel bug must also be the one that puts it in the next cache.
6. Bug race participating cachers may not move a bug participating in the bug race.
7. Bugs will be considered to have reached their destination when they have successfully reached a Tasmanian (non-virtual!) cache!
