This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Stacy's Volkswagon Bus is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

It is time for our little camper van to return home for a pit stop after an absolutely amazing journey.  Please help the van make its way back to Guelph, Ontario, Canada.  We would love to be reunited with our little globetrotter!

Thanks so much to the many, many geocachers who have faithfully looked after our van, moving it across the planet.  It has been so much fun to watch the progress.  We cannot believe the places it has been over the past 3 1/2 years.... and still going strong!  Truly unbelievable.

Anything you can do to move it closer to Guelph would be very much appreciated!

Original Post:

I am in a race with 20 other cars, and my goal is to drive from cache to cache as fast as I can without any lengthy pit stops. Check out our race page to see how we're all doing.

Like the van's co-owner (an 8-year old boy who describes this whole geo race as ‘Epic’), this little van is full of energy and curiosity, and is always looking for new experiences.  Already having travelled across the planet at the start of the race (from Guelph, Ontario, Canada to Australia), this camper van is stocked with all that is needed for a global adventure.

Please do what you can to help us along on an ‘epic’ journey.  All forms of transportation are permissible (land, sea, and air) as long as it ends up in a cache.  Don’t be shy to post photos of any stops along the way.

Thank you for joining my race crew and helping us get to the top of the list! Many thanks to those geocachers out there who have already helped us put so many miles on!
