This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Climber in the Dark is a Difficult Climbing Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This geocoin participates in a TB race, please help it move on quickly and drop it in well frequented caches. It gets competition points for visiting caches - both visits and drops count. So if you find it and bring it along when you are caching.

Please log it as visited  for all the caches you visit and it will get race points.

- multi or mystery cache - 2 points
- wherigo, letterbox, event, CITO or earth cache - 3 points
- mega event - 5 points
- maze exhibit or Project APE cache - 10 points

Besides the main points competition there are also awards for...
- traveling the farthest total distance
- being farthest away from the starting point (Växjö, Sweden) when the race ends
- having visited most countries

The race started February 1st 2011 and goes on until December 13th 2011.
