This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Old Salt is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Old Salt (TBGT6K) wants to visit all of the US states that have ocean boundaries (23 of them). He is a very ambitious TB. All of the caches that he stays in along the way MUST BORDER THE OCEAN. He wants to visit them in person STARTING IN MAINE, making ONLY ONE STOP IN EACH STATE, down the East Coast of the US to Florida. Then across the Gulf Coast to Texas; over to California and up to Alaska. His last visit will be to Hawaii. Upon return to Massachusetts, he will be placed in the hands of his owner - Cache Hound! who is located in Southeastern Massachusetts and dropped in a local cache (near Interstate Rt 195).
