This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Brigada 51 Portuguese Geocoin I is a Portugal Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

The mission of this Portuguese Geocoin is to travel across Europe (or the world) and be back to our own cache "Fidalga" (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=88365afd-2584-4fff-a665-44e5178f1808) by July 2008 (1 year after activation). If the cache "Fidalga" is not active on July 2008, the geocoin should return to Lisbon area (Portugal) by that date.

Since the coin was M.I.A. for 4 (!!!) years and it's now back it was not possible to accomplish the original mission.

The new mission of this coin is to arrive at my hands until August of 2013. I would rather receive it personaly from another geocacher rather than have to fetch it from a cache.
