This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

4F Dora Duck is a Making Tracks Trackable Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

THE 4F RACE

Life on the farm was getting pretty boring. Four Funny Farm Friends (the 4Fs) decided they would Make Tracks and go explore the world. One day, while listening to the farmers wife talking to a muggle, they overheard that Geocaching was a great way to visit millions of interesting places. Cathy Cow, Dora Duck, Todd Turtle and Maggie Mare decided it was time to escape.

They decided to make a game of their travels and see who could visit 200 locations before the others. The rules were pretty simple:

Ready, Set, Go!

HURRAY!! ON OCTOBER 9, 2014 WITH THE HELP OF SOME DEDICATED GEOCACHERS VISITING HER AROUND;  (Mrs. Zee, Deeishere and CSSH), MAGGIE MARE WAS THE FIRST OF THE FOUR FUNNY FARM FRIENDS TO VISIT 200 CACHES AND WIN THE RACE! WAY TO GO MAGGIE MARE!!!!  HOW FAR CAN YOU TAKE IT AND WHO WILL BE NEXT TO GET TO 200?

UPDATE: As of May 5, 2015 Maggie Mare is still in the lead with 382 logs but only 4,557 km. Cathy Cow is in a close second with 349 logs and an impressive 31,117 km. Dora Duck is in third with 174 logs and 2,119 km.  Poor Todd Turtle is living up to his name and may in fact be lost forever with only 2 logs and zero km. Can Cathy catch Maggie?

~~UPDATE: As of August 2018 Todd Turtle is the lone survivor, he's spent a lot of time in France and Portugal and has travelled 22,678 km and achieved 857 logs. Maggie Mare, Dora Duck and Cathy Cow are all missing in action since 2015. Cathy made it to Australia with 31,187 km and 354 logs, Maggie to Washinton State, USA with 4,607km and 386 logs and Dora to Washinton as well with 2119km and 175 logs. How far will Todd go? Will the others ever be seen again?

--UPDATE: As of September 2019 Todd Turtle has been off the radar for a year after getting to Portugal and achieving 22,759.5 km. Maggie Mare and Cathy Cow are still missing-will they ever be found.  BUT JOY Dora Duck was found January 14, 2019 and has since made it to Califonia and logged 9,613.5 Km!
