You already have the raw materials. You know the friendly neighbors, the best places to eat, and that one special spot that people should never miss on their visit. The question is: how do you entice the travelers and tourists of the world to discover your destination?
Geocaching.com can help. Join us to create a GeoTour. A GeoTour lets our community of millions know you're open for business with a story to tell, interesting locations, and family-friendly activities. These unique tours bring locations to life through a series of engaging geocaches placed within a specific area or along a route.
A GeoTour may also include a Passport. It's a grid for visitors to track their progress throughout their adventure. You can also reward visitors for completing your GeoTour with custom Geocoins or other Trackable items that you design and brand.
The geocaching community is five million strong and growing. We're adventurous and range from 8 months to more than 88 years old. Armed with smartphones or dedicated GPS devices, geocachers are always searching for their next "find." We're eager to hit the road or catch a flight in the ongoing quest for adventure.
The impact of GeoTour is completely measureable. Monitoring allows for tracking the number of Passports and Geocoins deployed and the number of geocaching "logs" entered by visitors on Geocaching.com. You can follow the ongoing impact of your GeoTour through every stage.
