Geocaching Caption Contest 15 – Win a Barely Coveted Prize

WINNING CAPTION:  Does this skirt make my cache look big? – ShellenPam

Try your caption writing skills in the fifteenth installment of our Geocaching Caption Contest.   You could win a barely coveted prize.  This photo of an unusual lamp post cache comes courtesy of the ventura_kids.

What caption would you write? “Lamp post caches keep getting easier and easier.”  You can do better!

Submit your caption and see what captions other geocachers have suggested. Please include your geocaching username in all entries.

You can also help sway the vote.  “Like” the caption you think should win.  If you think your caption should win, convince friends and strangers to vote for your caption.  Lackeys will then decide between the top captions to crown the winner of this Geocaching Caption Contest.

  1. Here we see a large male geocache marking it’s territory. Soon it will begin an elaborate courtship ritual in the hopes of attracting a mate.

  2. Typical Military Strategic Geocaching…Drive a Wedge, Blow The Skirt, Expose The Underbelly…Victory!

  3. I’ve been here four times, I have looked in every corner, every ripple, every nook and cranny, you couldn’t find a battleship in …… found it!!!

  4. “Sir could I place my large box under you skirt in very close proximity to your pole!” Wow asking for permission on this one almost got me into some serious troubles.

  5. “Sir, could I place my large box under your skirt in very close proximity to your pole!” Wow; asking for permission on this one almost got me into some serious troubles.

  6. Dear Cache Owner,
I’m sorry to tell you this, but due to a crowd of fifty muggles around me, I rehid this cache as good as I could manage.

  7. Bob had not been caching long, but he was very good
He found a few in just a week and felt he understood.
A few days on and getting bored, he thought he’d try a hide
How dare those people from Groundspeak suggest he read the guide?
The hide was neatly camouflaged and blended in quite well.
Quite why they saw a problem, he really couldn’t tell…

  8. Dad-
Found the perfect spot for a cache. Check out the McDonald’s parking lot. You may have to search for a while.

  9. John decided he needed to up his game this year. He dressed up like a lamp post for halloween so he could go caching while trick or treating.

  10. Once again, Dave’s stubborn refusal to deviate from his “Bigger is Always Better” philosophy comes back to bite him…
