How do I play?
From June 27 through July 25, earn up to 13 mythical creature souvenirs by finding geocaches and attending events.

How do I participate?

Once you reach that amount, earn the associated souvenir. View your Hidden Creatures progress in the Geocaching® app or on the Hidden Creatures site.

Can I join Hidden Creatures at any time?
Of course! You can earn all 13 souvenirs as long as you log caches and attend events before July 25.

How can I earn points?
Log a cache or attend an event, receive one point per log.

Do I get points for attending a CITO, Mega or Giga-Event?

Yes. Attending any event earns you one point.

Are the points cumulative?

Yes! If you find one geocache or attend one event you earn the Bigfoot souvenir. When you find two more caches you earn the Fairy souvenir.

Does Hidden Creatures incorporate the Friend League?

Hidden Creatures does not incorporate the Friend League, but you can still use Friend League to keep track of friends’ geocaching activity. Friend League will return and be used for other gameplay purposes in the future.

Where can I see my souvenirs?

As soon as you collect a certain number of points, the associated souvenir will automatically be awarded to your profile. Souvenirs appear on your profile under the Souvenir tab and also in the Souvenir section in the app. For iOS users, access your souvenirs from the Profile tab in the Geocaching® app. For Android users, access your souvenirs from the More menu in the upper left hand corner.
