What are Wonders?
Wonders are digital stamps hidden in geocaches. Wonders help you fill your Wonders of the World passport. Collect them when you find and log geocaches. Search for geocaches that contain the Wonders you are looking for and collect them when you log the cache.

Find and collect the Modern and Ancient Wonders of the World stamps to fill your passport to become the World Explorer. Then, collect the Natural and Solar System Wonder stamps to become the Ultimate Explorer.

How do I find and collect Wonders?
Plan your outings by searching for Wonders. Note: you have to collect all of the Modern Wonders before you can start collecting Ancient Wonders.

1. Use filters to see geocaches that contain Wonders. Find and log geocaches to collect the Wonders.

2. Collect all the Modern Wonders to unlock the Ancient Wonders.

3. Collect all of the Ancient Wonders to fill your passport and become the World Explorer.

4. Then collect the Natural Wonders before collecting the Solar System Wonders.

5. Fill your entire passport to become the Ultimate Explorer.

Keep track of your progress on the Wonders of the World page.

Note: All members (Basic and Premium) can search and filter for Wonders on Geocaching.com and in the Geocaching® app.

You can also look at cache details to see if a geocache has the Wonder you need.

How do I know which geocaches have Wonders?
You can filter for geocaches that have the Wonders you need by using the search filters in the Geocaching® app or on Geocaching.com or by clicking the “Search for Wonders” button on the Wonders of the World page.

How do I collect Wonders?
Filter for Wonders to see which geocaches have the Wonders you need. Then find and log those geocaches to collect the Wonder on the Wonders of the World page in the Geocaching® app or on Geocaching.com. You can also look in the cache details to see if that geocache has the Wonder you are looking for.

Adventure Lab Caches do not contain Wonders.

Do geocaches published during Wonders of the World get Wonders?
New geocaches published during Wonders of the World will all receive one of the Natural Wonders.

I changed my log and did not collect a Wonder. Help!
Log type changes will not award a Wonder; only find logs will award Wonders. You will not collect Wonders if you change a Write note or DNF to a Found it log. In order to be awarded the Wonder, you will need to delete and resubmit your Found it log.

If I delete my log, what happens to my Wonder?
If you delete your log, the Wonder associated with it will be removed from your collection.

If I find geocaches that contain a Wonder before I unlock the level, do I still collect it?
You cannot collect Wonders that you do not qualify for. You must find the Modern Wonders before you can collect Ancient Wonders, then you must find the Natural Wonders before you can collect Solar System Wonders.

How many Wonders are in a single geocache?
A geocache can contain up to four Wonder types, with an unlimited number of each Wonder. If you log a geocache that includes more than one Wonder, you will only collect the Wonder for the level you are on. So, if you have not found all seven Modern Wonders, you will collect the Modern Wonder. If you have collected all of the Modern Wonders, then you will collect the Ancient Wonder. If you have collected all of the Ancient Wonders, you will collect the Natural Wonder, and so on. If you find a geocache with a Wonder which you have already collected, you will not receive any Wonder when logging the cache.

Will my friends see the same Wonders as me?
Yes. However, if you have already found that geocache, you will not be able to collect the Wonder(s) it contains.
