The Reach the Peak leaderboard resets on September 6

There’s only a few days left to make it to the summit of Puncak Jaya before the leaderboard resets and we begin our trek to the top of Vinson, the tallest peak in Antarctica during month two of Reach the Peak.

The leaderboard will reset to zero at noon UTC September 6 (convert to your local time here).

Mount Vinson is the tallest mountain on the continent of Antarctica with a height of 4,892 meters (16,050 feet) above sea level. Climbers typically climb Vinson during December and January, which is summer for Antarctica although temperatures that time of year are usually around -29°C (-20°F).

Cachers must collect 325 points to earn the Vinson Basecamp souvenir and 4,892 points to earn the Vinson Summit souvenir.
