The Adventure’s creator, x&g, uses the Locations to highlight five favorite cafes and bakeries in neighborhoods near the city center. Follow the wafting scents of honey, cinnamon, and freshly brewed coffee while you discover Greek culinary delights on the Athens Street Food Tour.

If you start this non-sequential Adventure earlier in the day, you might want to pick the Location, Bravo Coffee, as your first stop for a little caffeine kick. The cafe at this location has been in business since 1922 and prepares traditional Greek coffee.

Another noteworthy Location in this Adventure is Το Κουλούρι του Ψυρρή (To Koulouri of Psirri in English). This Location brings you to the production facility for a company that makes Thessaloniki-style Koulouria, a classic Greek snack. These thin rings of sesame seed-covered bread are a delicious bite to have on the go while exploring the city. If you already explored the city a bit, they might be familiar to you, as they are often sold by street vendors at the exits of the Athens Metro.

In addition to Greek coffee and Thessaloniki-style Koulouria, the Adventure also points explorers to honey-covered doughnuts, ice cream, and traditional Greek cheese pies. The five Locations are all within walking distance of each other, so you can easily complete the Adventure while walking around the city for a couple hours. Though if you do choose to complete all the Locations in one day, I’d recommend starting the Adventure with a strong appetite.
