Top 10 Geocaches of the Week 2025

This year was exceptional for unique geocaches worldwide, and we’ve compiled a list of the top 10 to share. From a clever disguise in Switzerland and a colorful gadget cache in Texas to a not-so-little library in Canada and a sneaky lock near an iconic Spanish landmark, the variety is sure to excite.

To create this list, we evaluated the most-liked geocaches on our blog, Facebook, and YouTube. Each week, we spotlight diverse geocaches from around the globe. Now, we want to hear your favorites!

Thousands of pedestrians walk past this spot, unaware that a world-famous geocache is hidden right below their feet. Visit the sidewalk in Klybeck, Switzerland, to find this geocache (GC7PNK0).

Sometimes we encounter a complex gadget geocache and wonder how the cache owner created such a unique design.

This gadget cache asks geocachers to use the provided materials to make a tool, retrieve the key, and open the geocache (GC6P20K). The puzzle itself, however, is a real challenge.

Not far from nearby homes and the A13 highway is the TB castle of Harry Potter. This geocache (GC9ZD1Y) is located under the eaves of an unassuming building and is ready to be discovered. Created by Nabuursjes with support from students at Praktijkschool De Singel and Arnoud van Uden, this geocache brings the escape room experience outdoors, complete with switches, clues, and a clever code.
