Pi Day 2026: 3.14 sweet ways to celebrate, with three new souvenirs to earn!

Grab a slice of geocaching fun—Pi Day is here!

This year’s celebration turns puzzles into souvenirs with a tiered Mystery Cache quest.

March 14 (3.14) is Pi Day—an annual nod to the infinite, irrational number π (3.14). The tradition began in the United States and has since gained worldwide recognition. For geocachers, it’s also the perfect excuse to lean into puzzles, patterns, and the thrill of the “aha!” moment.

This year’s Pi Day celebration comes with tiered souvenirs. That means you can earn up to 3 souvenirs, depending on how many Mystery Caches you find and log between March 13-15, 2026.

Between March 13-15, 2026, earn 3 Pi Day 2026 souvenirs:

  • Find and log 1 Mystery Cache to earn the Coconut Cream Pi souvenir.
  • Find and log 3 Mystery Caches to earn the Cherry Pi souvenir.
  • Find and log 14 Mystery Caches to earn the Blueberry Pi souvenir.

Whether you’re fitting in one quick puzzle solve or going full 3.14 mode, each Mystery Cache find counts toward your next tier. Pick your pace, follow your curiosity, and see how far your Pi Day adventure can go.

One Mystery Cache or 14, each find brings you one step closer to the next souvenir. Choose your route, enjoy the brain-teasers, and make Pi Day as big (or bite-sized) as you like.

Ready to get started? Search for a Mystery Cache nearby and let the solving begin.

To make this holiday extra sweet, all non-Premium Mystery Caches are open to everyone throughout the weekend on the Geocaching® app from 11:00:00 UTC on Friday, March 13 until 10:00:00 UTC on Monday, March 16, 2026.
