Discover Alpine Wonders on the Alpine Circle GeoTour (GT503)
Embark on an unforgettable geocaching adventure across Graubünden, Switzerland’s largest and most mountainous canton, with the Alpine Circle GeoTour (GT503). This self-guided journey takes you to 13 unique geocache locations along the iconic Alpine Circle route, where dramatic gorges meet breathtaking mountain vistas.
The Alpine Circle was created as a touring route that links many of the canton’s most iconic natural and cultural attractions into a single journey.
On your excursion, ride legendary railways, explore the wild beauty of the Swiss National Park, and discover some of Switzerland’s most remarkable landscapes. From hidden natural wonders to unforgettable viewpoints, each cache reveals a new chapter of Graubünden’s story.

GCBFQCX — Take in the scenery of the Bündner Herrschaft, a celebrated wine region made up of four picturesque villages: Fläsch, Jenins, Malans, and Maienfeld. The area’s varied soils and favorable climate contribute to its reputation for exceptional wines, including those crafted by the family-run Marugg winery, which has been cultivating its vineyards since 1976.

GCBFQBZ — Enjoy a stop at the Lower Engadine Regional Museum, housed in the historic “Big House,” a traditional Engadine home that showcases over 70 years of local cultural heritage. Visitors can explore authentic architectural features, including one of the oldest Engadine parlors, a cross-vaulted entrance hall, cellar rooms, and the former barn where livestock were once kept.

GCBFQCK — On your adventure, make sure to stop and admire the spectacular views of the Landwasser Viaduct, a masterpiece of railway engineering set amid the dramatic alpine landscape near Filisur. Spanning the Landwasser Valley at a height of 213 feet (65 meters), it is one of the most photographed sights along the UNESCO World Heritage Rhaetian Railway.

GCBJ3MC — Experience the grandeur of the ‘Swiss Grand Canyon’ at this scenic stop above the Rhine Gorge. From the nearby Islabord viewing platform, you can admire the dramatic landscape and learn about the forces that shaped this unique natural wonder.
