As our quarter-century anniversary draws to a close, we\u2019re feeling a bit nostalgic. This week, we\u2019d like to share a geocache that pays tribute to something even older than geocaching: the classic children\u2019s movie, Toy Story<\/a>, released almost exactly 30 years ago, on 19 November 1995. But this isn\u2019t just any old tribute; this cache is a playful spin on one of the film\u2019s iconic scenes. Cache owner, wiwok<\/a>\u2019s, creativity will grab your attention, and clever design will pull you in before revealing the hidden logbook.<\/p>\n

Your first step is to follow the posted coordinates to a quiet industrial street near Ripollet, Spain. Your geo-senses might begin to tingle as you see plenty of places where a large cache could hide. But don\u2019t get any bright ideas that finding this cache will be easy. Look around for a flash of inspiration to guide you to the key before looking for the geocache itself.<\/p>\n

Opening this cache will have you \u201coooohing\u201d in unison just like the aliens in Toy Story. The cache\u2019s title finally makes sense, as \u201cthe claw\u201d (\u201cgancho\u201d in Spanish and Catalan) comes into view.<\/p>\n

But this toy\u2019s story isn\u2019t over yet. Use the claw machine to find the hidden code to unlock the logbook. Mission accomplished: now you can admire the cache’s details, trade a trackable or two, and leave a wooden coin for the next geocacher.<\/p>\n
