The event brought together geocachers from across Europe for a historic gathering of the Italian geocaching community. Of course, Italy’s first Mega-Event deserved a geocache that could match the occasion.

Approaching the coordinates, geocachers quickly realize that the search isn’t about spotting a cleverly disguised container hidden on the festival grounds; the container is the landscape. As we all know, every cache needs a log sheet. What better way to let geocachers make their own mark and contribute to Italian geocaching history than signing the container? During a time of uncertainty, after facing shipping challenges with receiving the beloved Signal costume in time, one of the organizers spotted an old rusty shipping container at the venue and envisioned transforming it into a giant geocache to surprise the team.

To bring the idea to life, they invited local geocacher and graffiti artist, Elborse, who created the colorful mural featuring Signal and geocaching-themed artwork.
