It is also the 20th anniversary of the day the first geocache was placed, May 3, 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2019 a group of Lackeys took a road trip to Oregon to visit the place where that first geocache was placed on May 3, 2000. Though the original geocache there is gone, a commemorative geocache and plaque exist there now in its place.
