This is a collection of caches within the Namadgi National Park, ACT, Australia.

Any cache attempted at Namadgi should be first studied (a lot). Most of the cache hiders have good descriptions and also include waypoints and parking suggestions. If you aren't familiar with the layout of the National Park, stop in at the Namadgi Visitors Centre and look at their maps (there is even a cache there), grab the brochures on all the walks and also have a talk to the rangers. You can then start putting the pieces of the puzzle together and figure out where these caches are according to the walking trails. The rangers will give you great info on what trails are easy and what are not.

The google maps of GC are also very valuable. Take a print if you don't have maps of the area. There are only a few caches that are actually not on or near proper walking trails, so always look for them and don't take the direct path.

You can group these caches together to plan caching days. I have grouped

GC5P0K7 Multi-cache 2nd Attempt

GCT6WF Traditional Cache A CLEAR Loop
A long distance cache (35.4km) with gradual rising up mountains and wet creek crossing. Good to either walk or do by bike (if your body is accustomed to cycling).

I decided to walk it, as I once started to cycle it and found my legs would have had a lot of aching to make the entire loop. I've decided I'm a walker.

Cyclers plan around 5 hours for the entire loop. I managed to walk it in just over 9 hours while doing 4 caches.

Read the cache description, get ALL the waypoints and you can also enjoy "Southern Outpost", "Frosty Hollow" and "ASSIMILATE" on the way, IF you do the full loop.

GC18EK0 Unknown Cache A Geocaching Drama in Three Acts

GC2ABD Traditional Cache A Long Way To The Top
Quite a long drive to get to a park, as far as you can past Mount Franklin. Then its a long walk and then a hill trek. Cache was a bit hard to find, but is huge, so you shouldn't have any trouble. A few caches to get along the way, including "Wild Wild West" and "Franklin - the old & the new".

GC39857 Traditional Cache A Mountain for mtbikeroz

GC17BGN Traditional Cache A Mountain Somewhere
This is a very tough one. The walk is 20km return and scales from 950m to over 1700m. Most of the trail does not have a path, so you trip over branches, logs and rocks while ascending and descending.

You can do "The Other Valley" on the way. There is a problem with the markers of this cache but the final waypoint for this cache is written in the description of "A Mountain Somewhere".

GC11AJN Traditional Cache A Spacey Cache II: The Cache Strikes Back

GC1A61X Traditional Cache A Way to Namadgi
This is my cache to add to the Namadgi tough ones. I have planted a 5 star cache at the top of a mountain, 1500m up.
