The Ontario Geocaching Majors are made up of major yearly events within Ontario (with exception to the ASP Geobash and GeoWoodstock). Primarily focused on Southern Ontario (highest concentrations of geocaches/geocachers).

*Events must have been running 3 years or more to qualify.*
*Days with multiple events (CITO Day, Geocaching Day, WWFM) are not counted.*
*Monthly events are not counted unless it is it's own annual marquee event.*
*Must be a popular or well-known event with activities.*

Located in New York's Allegany State Park every 3rd Saturday in May.

Several Satellite events happen over the weekend including flashmob, campfire and CITOs. New caches, games and prize draws.

Every 2nd or 3rd Tuesday in Oktober located in Kitchener area.

Based around Kitchener's Oktoberfest activities. It's is an annual tradition among the C.R.E.W.'s regular meeting events.

Memorial Day weekend (USA), different city each year.

Geowoodstock is the grandaddy of MEGA Events.
Games, caches, food, and many satellite events
Although not Canadian this event is the granddaddy of MEGA events and is something you should try to go for if possible!

Located in Kortright Conservation area late May/Early June

Formally run by the GHMGC and now managed by the YRGC. Has new caches, seminars and food.
