Dead Man's View (Southland)

nearest at the time we did it was 5.4 now there is one 4.2 miles away too but quite a ways from everything.

Homer Hut (Fiordland)

5.4 to the next closets this was  gerat spot on a stream and had been dnf'd a few times before we found it tucked way back in.  Yet another awesome place in NZ

Lake Gunn Fishermans Rest (Milford Rd,  Fiordland)

nearest cache is now 3.9 miles at the time I did it it was 7.9 miles to the next Homer hut which we also did.  But Milford Sound is definately worth the drive!  the new one nearby "THe Chasm" is also a very neat spot that we had stopped when visiting the area.

Nearest to this is 4 miles - and if you take a seasonal road away from that next cache in the winter in mini van it is quite and experience!
