The Fairbanks caching community is active and growing rapidly with more than 100 caches (up from less than 30 in 2004) within a 30 mile radius. This is a list of caches in the Fairbanks, North Pole and surrounding areas that we classify as "scramble" caches. Our definition of "scamble" is that you may get muddy, bug-bitten, hike between 1/2 and eight miles one-way, or use skis, dogs, snowmachine, ATV, horse or boat for access. Do some of these caches if you wish to experience some of the "real" Alaska.
