Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

One of the nicest walks you will do around Para Wirra park and as a bonus, this is in the free area of the park. Very scenic views, particularly in Spring time. Very beautiful.
You can combine this with a swag of the other goldfield caches for a great hiking day out with lots of caches.

Astro La Vista, Baby!

A short lovely walk (not too high either) partly through a pine forest on a part of the Heysen Trail not travelled much. A fun cache to find as well

We enjoyed this cache the most out of all the ones we did in Ballarat. A very lovely walk through the park with fantastic colours in the rocks as well. A nice hide to top it all off as well.

Great cave formations in miniature here that you would have to pay to see on bigger scales elsewhere.

A great walk around a local park that you can actually take your dog along as well. It is topped off with an excellent GZ which is a bit of an adventure.

Fantastic views of the pound and Flinders Ranges from here. A very pleasant walk up to here to boot as well.

Quite a sad little grave but an interesting insight into times past.
