Geocache Description:

Rain, wind, flooding, snow and ice ... What's next???
It's time to get together for dinner and geocaching chat,
and forget those mid-winter blues!

Get your Goretex on and venture out for a fun get-together to meet with other geocachers and enjoy a good dinner...

Who?
Anyone who enjoys geocaching or just wants to learn more about it! You don't need to be a member of the WSGA (Washington State Geocaching Association) to attend, and kids are welcome.

What?
A night out to meet and visit with fellow geocachers from the greater Whatcom, Skagit, and Island county area. If you got a new GPS for Christmas and have questions about how to use it, you'll find lots of friendly people ready to help you get the most from your new gear. You'll also be the first to get the inside scoop on the big geo-event coming up in March!

Where?
Chinese Buffet, 525 East College Way, Mount Vernon, (in the Value Village strip mall). They have a wide assortment of Chinese and American selections to choose from -- the price is $10.59 for adults with discounts for kids under 12, and includes all you can eat dinner, soft drinks, coffee, and desserts. Be sure to check your latest ValPak coupon mailing for a discount coupon, or print off the same coupon at ValPak.com.

When?
Saturday evening, January 20, 2007, from 6-8 p.m.

Please post a "Will Attend" note to indicate how many in your party will be attending so we can give the restaurant a rough idea of how many to expect. The buffet features a great selection of seafood (salmon, crab legs, shrimp, scallops, prawns and oysters), beef, chicken, and vegetarian choices, a full salad bar, lots of stir fry selections, rice and noodles. Other items include fish and chips, onion rings, fried chicken, and garlic toast; fresh fruit, cake, and soft ice cream.

As usual, there will probably be a new geocache or two hidden in the nearby area, so be sure to bring your GPSrs for some after-dinner caching fun! This should be a great time to get together again -- hope to see you all there!

If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please join the Washington State Geocaching Association. This is a great way to get the most out of geocaching in our region. Simply go to geocachingwa.org for details!
