Geocache Description:

Disclaimer

This is a nonprofit activity meant to add further enjoyment to a beloved St. Paul, Minnesota hobby and tradition. The clues are the real focus of this puzzle and without them there's really no point in pursuing all else that follows. The clues belong to the Pioneer Press. I don't want to be shut down for republishing them. In no way am I trying to steal for personal gain. I just want to help spread the love.

Clue 1
A place that belongs to everyone
Is where you will find the loot
A thousand dollars can be yours
And plenty more to boot.

Plenty of trees
For old time loggers
But now it's used
For picnics and joggers.

No one can say
Our bark's worse than our bite
Follow this clue
To the treasure site.

A body of water
Is new frozen ice
It may help find the treasure
Wouldn't that be nice?

In the summertime
You'll find some help
In this little rhyme.

Once it stood
So tall and stately
This simple clue
Can help you greatly.

Clue 7
A line of red circles
Not far from the plot
Sometimes they're turning
Sometimes they're not.

Sirens wail and big trucks roll
When fire gets out of hand
Follow this clue and you could find
The sweetest loot in the land.

Clue 9
Hi Ho Silver, Autry
And Rogers
Think this direction
You kids 'n' codgers

Clue 10
A vineyard out East
A president's mate
Fit the name of the park
Like ice cream and cake.

If you're on Humboldt
You're near the right site
Not far from a hydrant
Close to a tree of broken off height.

Clue 12

Just north of the courts at Marthaler Park
A broken tree is in view
By the tree on the bank on a piece of bark
The medallion belongs to you.
