It's that time of year
agains folks, the Cabela's Meet & Greet. This year is is on
March 25, 2007. It will begin around noon and end around 6:00 pm.
The event will be on the upper level of the Cabela's in Wheeling,
WV. The conference room is on the left side on the restaurant. This
is just an informal meet and greet. Time to tell all the tall
Geotales and stories. We will have a travelbug/geocoin table for
everyone bringing and taking TB's/Geocoins. There will be a sign-in
sheet at the table this year so no TB's/Geocoins turn up missing.
We will also have a corner set up for all you coin nuts who want to
show off you collections or trade with fellow cachers. There will
be door prizes. Put this event on you watchlist as I will be
updating the page often.
Now added to the fun is a Geo-Poker
Run. The object of the Geo-Poker Run is to go from
cache to cache and collect symbols. You will collect as many
symbols as you can in a specified time. At noon (when the actual
event starts) we will play a big game of poker. Winning hand gets a
prize. Only pick 1 symbol per cache. We will meet at 9:30 am on
Sunday morning on the right side of Cabela's in the Parking Lot
(next to the Cabela's Travelbug Motel Cache). Instructions will be
handed out and we will register you here also. Then at 10:00, off
you go. You don't have to get all the caches to win, but the more
you collect, the better chance you have to win. More details will
be given on the morning of the run. You need to register by writing
a note. Please let me know how many people will be on you team (Max
of 4 people) and your Team Name. Only 1 symbol per team.
There is a list of rules and regulations you must sign before the
Poker-Run can begin. Please try to have you form filled out before
you show up in the morning. Thiss will cut down on registration

For everyone coming up the
night before the event or for anyone who wants to just BS about
caching and maybe get something to eat (eating is optional),
CainRCC and myself arranged for a banquet room at the local Hoss'
Steakhouse in Elm Grove, WV .
We are having this as a seperate event on the Saturday the night
before the event (March 24th). If you are interested in

**UPDATE**
For all you coin collectors, icon hounds, and people who generally
like to "DISCOVER" the coins and TB. I will be collecting at the
event lists of coins and TB numbers on a signup sheet. This will
hold 2 purposes:
-To keep track of who brought and took TB & Coins so none go
into TB and Coin Limbo!!
- After the event, I will post a MASTER LIST of coin so that you
coin hounds can just copy and paste the number and Discover
it.
We will also have LeNore
from the Dresseldragons doing some audio recording for the
Podcacher
Podcast!!!
