## Geocache Description:

Multi-leg quest. You will need to solve a couple riddles/clues along the way to complete the search.

Drive to (N 46 36.625 W 111 59.398) to start your quest. When you “Arrival”, go INSIDE and look to the HEAVENS. Find the “Bird” with the name of an “Insect”. Somewhere in this same building is this big bird’s “Mini-Me”. You don’t need to pass through security. The sign on the “Mini-Me” names it’s creator and it’s owner. Complete your first decoding key set by assigning the letters of the Mini-Me CREATOR'S full name(s), in order, to the numbers 0-9. See the example a couple lines down before you get started. Print this page and you can use the “fill-in-the-blanks” provided to keep track of your codes and to decode the coordinates. Enjoy the bird collection(s).

0=__, 1=__, 2=__, 3=__, 4=__, 5=__, 6=__, 7=__, 8=__, 9=__.

When you have completed your key, decode the encoded grids(Lat/Long) below to numbers. Hint: As you spell the creator’s name(skip any letter already used), keeping the numbers 0-9 in order and assigning a letter as it occurs in the name. Example: John Smith would result in the code of: 0(zero)=J, 1=O(Oh), 2=H, 3=N, 4=S, 5=M, 6=I, 7=T (H does not equal 8 because H was already used to equal 2).

The coded location of the second point along your quest is:

North “S” “E” deg “I” “K”. “I” “H” “C” min, Fill your coordinates into the blanks provided. North ___ ___ deg ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ min,

West “H” “H” “R” deg “C” “R”. “I” “R” “D” min.
West ___ ___ ___ deg ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ min.

Travel to these coordinates(WGS84) and “Read The Boy’s Message”. The HEADLINES are your next key code. Start over fresh with the new letters of the HEADLINES/MESSAGE. Remember to start with zero and skip any letter already used. Forget the first code, this is a total reset of the letters/numbers. While you are working on the second code set, you might hit the close-by "Tropical Bird" and grab some goodies.

0=__, 1=__, 2=__, 3=__, 4=__, 5=__, 6=__, 7=__, 8=__, 9=__.

With the above key, now decode the coordinates below.

North “T” “Y” deg “I” “Y”. “Y” “T” “A” min,
North ___ ___ deg ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ min,

West “A” “A” “P” deg “C” “T”. “I” “O” “S” min.
West ___ ___ ___ deg ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ min.

Travel to the cache site. There are places to park that you don’t have to pay for. The Cache is just off the beaten path at the base of a tree. A little snow digging might be needed if there is snow on the ground. Look to the rising sun side of the tree. It's OK to feed any real birds you see on this leg of the quest. Hope you enjoyed the BIRDS.
