How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Cache is accessible by a well-groomed path in East River Valley Park. Parking is in the lot where Carr's Swimming Pool used to be and then proceed over the bridge to the East Park. Distance is about 1/3 of a mile from parking. You will have to leave the trail to get to the cache, and it will be harder in the summer when everything is grown up.
Many people use this area for walking, running, and dog walking. Please watch for muggles. Enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding areas. During the summer there will be a lot of ground cover off of the trail, which will include POISON IVY, itchweed and, in some areas, small thorny plants. During the winter months, there are maintained cross country skiing trails on the eastern edges of the park. Enjoy lots of berries along the west side of the tall grass area and enjoy the shaded trail system during the leafy months.
Please practice Cache In Trash Out and trade even or trade up! Be sure to log any geocoins or travel bugs picked up or dropped off when you log the cache online.
Get out there and enjoy this awesome trail system.
