Canyon226: I went out and checked on this cache today. I also only found the lid to the cache. I am a bit discouraged as this is the second or third time it has been found and destroyed. It looks like this area is a popular spot for kids during the warm months. So I am gong to archive this cache and place a new one a little downstream. Hopefully it will fare better.

Geocache Description:

Located on the Caldwell Greenbelt along the Boise River.

This cache is in a small container and is hidden along the banks of the Boise River.

There are several ways to get onto the greenbelt path. The cache is then located off the path in brush somewhere along the high water line.

Take a look around and you can see bits of brush that are stuck in the tree branches from last years high water event. It is amazing the river was this high, and it wasn't even a record flood year.
