Geocache Description:

CZ:Petizastávková multicache, která vás provede nejzajímavejšími místy Korycan.
EN:Five stage multicache, which will show you the most interesting places of Korycany town.

EN

The history of the town Korycany is close related to the history of Cimburk castle. The oldest notes related to the country are from 1131. The history of the town is older for sure. You will learn something about the town while you will search the cache.

The first stage is in the castle park. But be aware! In the park is the castle and in the castle is the school and a hostel with a lot of teenagers. This is the reason of opening hours. Simply, you should not go there in the night. It is not a strict rule, but there is one reason for not doing that: the tale about Richters boots.

One more advice: you need a paper and a pen, you will use it for sure!

Stage 1:Expiriencing some problems with stage 1 I've decided to place 2 caches on the place of coordinates> one easier (down), second more difficult (up). The advantage of the second one is that you may skip stage 2, which is stealth required.

The tale about Richters boots

Once upon a time there lived a burgrave Richter, who was very cruel for all the people and he let them work very hard. He also made other bad things, too. He was cursed, so the land would not to carry his body after he died. Some priests tried to bless the body, but they were not successful, because only one can bless the body, who is without sin. Richter but told everyone his sins, so noone was successful. But one young priest came, but Richter told him, that he stealed the needle to his mother. But the priest proved, that he only lend a needle when he was sewing the shirt. So the body was buried, but his boots are going around the castle, searching the burgrave.
