Geocache Description:

Located in Humaston Brook State Park, this cache is part of A Series of Unfortunate Caches. The titles in this series are a clue to where or what is near the cache site. The only fortunate thing about this particular cache is that it is not located in the waterfall, so stay clear of it and enjoy the view.

You should park along the side of Newton Road. It is a very short walk. After crossing the road, look for a well worn path (about halfway between the STOP and 25 MPH signs) on Knifeshop Road.
The cache itself is safely away from the waterfalls. The actual terrain for seeking the cache is about a 2, but I have rated it higher because, if the water can fall, so can you! Please use caution if bringing children or dogs in here! Cache responsibly!

If you are viewing this page in hopes of finding a delightful, fun-filled cache, you would be wrong. In fact, your time would be better spent doing a google search for fancy hats with big feathers! I’m sorry to say that this cache is extremely unpleasant.

If you intend to go geocaching, a term which here means “potentially walking off a cliff because you are focused on a tiny hand-held device”, then it’s not too late for you to choose a different one. This cache is so awful, that you should press crtl-atl-del and run as far away from your computer as possible!

The titles and descriptions of this series are inspired by A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.

Knowledge of the books is absolutely unnecessary. In fact, you should be glad that you don’t need to read any of these terrible stories. They are full of such woe and despair that it is totally inadvisable. Of course, you may live your life dangerously, in which case, the books are readily available at any library or book store. But don’t say that I didn’t warn you!

What ever you do, don't click the link to this horrible website! It is a fiendish forum! Don't be fooled, CCC really stands for Contagious Caching Chat! If you go here you may win a worthless word game, maybe even a monstrous make-believe medal, or perhaps something worse...
Don't say I didn't warn you!
