How Geocaching Works

The coordinates above will take you to a convenient parking spot, and NOT the final! Solve the puzzle below, however, to find ones which will lead you on a short walk to a small container with log (Sorry, no real room for trades on this one). FTF prize is three lottery tickets. See instructions below for the FTF project.
This cache is dedicated to N. T. Oryy (pronounced or-ray). Oryy was born in Edinburgh on March 3, 1847. He emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1870 and then to the US in 1871.
Here are some facts about N. T. Oryy. Some known, some not!
He helped find a bullet in the body of President James Garfield;
He had a cat named Peaky, Jr;
He helped develop the hyrofoil;
He helped people detect minor ear problems;
His work continues to help people including me and you;
He helped in locating icebergs;
He tried to separate salt from seawater;
He researched the use of alternative fuels.
There is an old Scottish folk song with the words:
Oryy, Oryy, is a native of my land
He helped so many people beyond the sea and sand
Oryy, Oryy is a native of my land
I hold his wisdom in the palm of my hand.
Thanks, Oryy If not for you, I would not have placed this cache.
Here is the puzzle ......... Good luck!
