I don't particularly like micros either, so I have made this one a cache with a difference which I think you will enjoy. The route from the parking area is flat for most of the way and it gets muddy only after heavy rain.
There are nice views of Charlton Viaduct from near here which was the longest of seven viaducts built for the 26-mile stretch of the Somerset & Dorset Railway between Evercreech Junction and Bath, which opened in 1874 and closed in 1966. There is a nice view of it from about 100 yards further up the path.
