Reviewer notes

Use this space to describe your geocache location, container, and how it's hidden to your reviewer. If you've made changes, tell the reviewer what changes you made. The more they know, the easier it is for them to publish your geocache. This note will not be visible to the public when your geocache is published.

GeoCrater: I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no word from the owner in the month or more since the last reviewer note was posted. If you want to re-activate the cache during the next couple of months, please contact GeoCrater to see if that's possible. If the cache meets current guidelines, consideration will be given based on the circumstances surrounding the original archival.

Geocache Description:

For over 10,000 years, this area has been inhabited by various Native American groups. Approximately 1,500 years ago, Woodland Culture followers built this mound. For more info, see (visit link) or (visit link) The mound and the adjacent museum are owned and operated by the City of Florence. The cache is a film cannister that is placed outside the fenced area that contains the mound and museum. You can park virtually beside the cache on the south side of the mound. BYOP
