Gamle Lærdalsøyri omfatter område et bygningsmiljø fra 1700-1800-tallet med 160 vernede bygninger. Et sjeldent syn på Vestlandet! Håndverksutsalg, reiseminne, antikk, kafeteria, galleri, Gjestegalleriet, telemuseum, postmuseum, Jularbosamling og Lærdalsmarkedet.
Midt på gamle Lærdalsøyri ligger gamlebanken med Lærdal Turistkontor og utstilling "Reiseliv-samferdsle-Gamle Lærdalsøyri" (oppe hele året). Nytt i 2007: Gamlebakeriet med hjemmebakte brød og kaker og Audio Visuell guiding i området.Cachen ligger etter gamlevegen mot Erdal
