Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash - bring your own pen - Name and date only please....

This micro is placed next to the remains of the Windermere Steamer The Swift. She weighed 203 gross tons, and was 150 x 21 x 10 ft. She was built by T. B. Seath of Rutherglen, Glasgow, 1899/1900, and launched Jan 1, 1900.

The old bits which were saved when she was scrapped in 1998 are set out in the lovely gardens.

The diff. rating is high due to how busy the area can get.

Please use extreme stealth when retrieving / hiding the cache.

Please make sure the top is put back on after your visit.

Cheers MaxKim.
