Geocache Description:

Snadno dostupné, blízko silnice. Enigma - záhada, co to tam vlastne je?

Motto: Napred vzadu, oci mej

Liten je zajímavé místo. Zdejší panství v roce 1850 koupil Josef František Daubek. On i jeho syn byli velkými mecenáši umení, kterí zde hostili napr. Josefa a Quida Mánesovi, Františka Ženíška, J. V. Myslbeka a další.

Liten is an interesting place. In 1850 Josef František Daubek bought the manor here. He and his son were great art patrons and their hosts here were Josef and Quido Mánes, František Ženíšek, J. V. Myslbek and many others. To the East of Liten, there is the burial vault of the Daubek family in Renaissance revival style by the architect Antonín Wiehl from 1888. The interior mosaics were made by J.V. Myslbek. The world-known cantatrice Jarmila Novotná, who married J. Daubek, is burried here.
