Situated at 153 meters above sea level, there is a micro that has one of the best views in Greece.Do not think it easy to climb up to this spot.There is not any car road to take you there.All you have to use is your legs, if you can live under the very hot beams of the sun, while trying to find your way in this maze of tight paths between the Symian houses.
The cache is a film canister in a small zip bag.In the cache there is a geocaching declaration and many sheets for logs.There is no pen or pencil, so please bring your own.
You must have a hat and lots of water.Keep in mind to have a spair t-shirt for after the cache, because the climbing will make you sweat rapidly.
A good hint to start with, is to search or ask the locals for the "Kali Strata" path.It is the main wide stairs that guide you from sea level to the upper south parts of the town.Then follow your GPS through the maze and sooner or later you will find your way up to the castle.
Once you visit the cache area, then every Symi visit of yours will include a climb up to this spot...It is one of the views I can never stop thinking of...
