Rancho San Rafael Park - Highland Picnic Area, it is the Western most picnic area in the park.
Event will take place from 1pm-5pm
Well its that time of year again where most of the locals dread the traffic and the most of the visitors can't get enough of it! So why not have an event!
All are welcome, especially those that are looking for a little escape from that larger local mega event that happens to be occuring at the same time!
We will be having a virtual scavenger hunt throughout the park (no driving will be necessary once your there) with some cool raffle prizes, along with a 50/50 raffle! Hotdogs, hamburgers and bottled water will be provided, if your tastes are a little more gourmet, bring it with you, we will cook it up!
There is also The Wilbur May Museum and The Great Basin Adventure park for the kids (and adults!)on the park grounds. A LARGE dog park is also adjacent to our picnic area.
So bring your hot rod/cachemobile and get ready to have some fun!

If anybody is interested, the park has sent me unlimited group coupons for the museum and the adventure park, they are offering a combo pass for $5 a person that includes the museum, adventure park and a free flume ride.
