Go JayBee: Time to close this Event down....don't want any of those "short bus" folks trying to find Jeeps, etc.

Thanks to all who "actually" attended...

Geocache Description:

This is part of a very special Event occuring all over the World on Oct 6, 2007.

Schedule of Events?: We have a massive raffle planned. There have been some very nice donations from the coin vendors.

Jayel57 will be cooking some awesome HotDogs & Brauts for a nominal donation to S.A.G.A.. (Beleive me, it WILL be worth it!)

And, you will be entertained by the one, the only....(drum roll here)....."geolite69"!

We have the Picnic Area "D" reserved for 50 people...if more folks show up, there will be a small charge per head, so please help us pay for the use of the facilities by making a small donation of your choice.

If you want to bring some food to share, you are welcome. I know, I'll be doing some sort of BBQ item. Plan on eating around noon.

And..bring your coins to trade or barter for. Also, bring your Travel Bugs and Jeeps to share.

Oregon Geocoin Event
Whether you are a veteran geocoin collector or a new person interested in finding out about geocoins, join us for a funfilled day, lots of geocoins and caching

* What: Oregon's Geocoin Event

* Where: Silver Falls State Park...Admisssion to the event is free, however any donation will be greatly appreciated...the park will want a day-use fee from you if you don't have a pass.

* Event Contact: Go JayBee

* Time: Saturday October 6th, 2007 from 10:00am till 6:00pm.

* Why: A cacher by the name of "avroair" thought it would be great to have local Geocoin Events which would allow more folks to attend, especially after he got stuck in New Jersey last February and was not able to attend the 1st GeoCoin Fest in Temecula, CA. (Which, BTW, he organized.)

This event is open to everyone. So even if you don't collect geocoins, come and spend the day hanging out and sharing geocaching stories with other area cachers. It's an easy Smiley. Hope to see you there!

This Event is being sponsored by: S.A.G.A. (Salem Area Geocaching Association), a non-profit organization....more information can be found *HERE AT OREGON SAGA*.

If you missed out on the Pre-Reservation for the Commemorative Attendee Coin, just post an "I Will Attend"...I'll put you on the list....limit is 1 per attendee.

Oh, and one last thing:
If ya put TBs, Jeeps, and Coins into this event, please make sure that they actually go home with you or someone else.
I'll give you a week to get the trash out...then I'll mark them all placed in "An Unknown Location".
