Mocht de cache, of onderhoud van de cache, aan je aandacht ontsnapt zijn, en je de cache alsnog weer nieuw leven wilt inblazen, dan graag even een berichtje via email of twitter. Als de cache binnen afzienbare tijd hersteld of herplaatst is, wil ik de cache wel terughalen uit het archief, mits deze aan de dan geldende richtlijnen voldoet.

Geocache Description:

De Juttersroute; een Multicache op Ameland door Kenjitsuka m.m.v. WorldView.

De route begint, hoe kan het ook anders, bij het Jutters en Landbouw Museum in Buren. De tocht kan het beste op de fiets worden ondernomen. De lengte tot de cache is ongeveer 2,7 kilometer. Vanaf de cache terug naar het begin punt is ongeveer 960 meter, dus als u het niet erg vindt om 4 kilometer te lopen dan is dat ook een optie.

Vanwege de lengte en omdat het een multicache is krijgt de cache een 3 uit 5 volgens het Geocache Rating System.

De cache bevatte bij het begraven zeven items om te ruilen, een logboekje op A7 formaat en twee geocoins die meegereisd
zijn vanaf enkele andere caches op het eiland. Helaas was het verstoppen een beetje een haastklus, dus het 'Dit is een geocache'-info briefje ontbreekt. Misschien wil een van de eerste loggers een briefje meenemen en toevoegen? :)

De cache is rond, van wit plastic, met een groene deksel en ongeveer tien centimeter doorsnee.

Begin op N53 26.844, E5 47.788.

Op een lange horizontale plank op deze eerste locatie bevinden zich rode en groene bordjes met getallen erop.
Tel de getallen van de eerste twee bordjes (van links naar rechts gezien) bij elkaar op.
Vermenigvuldig die waarde met tien en tel daar 558 bij op. Dit is A.
Tel de waarden van het derde en vierde bordje bij elkaar op, en vermenigvuldig ook die waarde met 10.
Tel daar 676 bij op, en u krijgt B.

De volgende halte is: N53 26.A E5 46.B.

De zee geeft jutters soms veel, maar eist ook vaak een hoge tol. Op de tweede locatie worden we geconfronteerd met de prijs van de heldhaftigste baan op het eiland. Noteer het jaartal van de grote zelfopoffering, hier in zwart marmer gehouwen.

Jaartal + 5300 = C. Jaartal + 5374 = D.

Ga nu naar N53 2C E5 4D.

Op de derde locatie treft u een grote gift van de zee aan. Lees het bordje met informatie om de locatie van de cache te ontcijferen! Al snel leest u over een paal. Noteer de waarde die op deze paal staat. De komma negeert u, zodat u een getal van drie cijfers krijgt.

Getal - 3 = e. Getal + 506 = F.

De cache ligt op N53 27.e E5 47.F.

De exactie locatie zit verscholen achter de tip!

De Juttersroute; a Multicache on the island of Ameland, by Kenjitsuka with thanks to Worldview.

This route is inspired by the people who made a living from harvesting resource from sunken ships; so called Jutters.
The route begins, of course, in the Jutters en Landbouw Museum in the town of Buren. This is a museum dedicated to said Jutters.

We advise you to ride your bike, because it will take about 2,7 kilometres before you reach the cache. Then you still need to walk 960 metres back to the beginning. If you don't mind to walk the approximate four kilometres than you can of course also undertake this multicache on foot!

Because this cache is a Multicache and the lenght of the route this cache is rated 3 out of 5 in the Geocache Rating System.

The cache originally started off with seven tradable items, an A7 format logbook and two geocoins.
The 'You have stumbled upon a geocache'-note is not present.

The cache itself is round, made off white plastic, has a green lid and is approximately 4 inches in diameter.
Ready? Alright, then here are your hints!

Start off at N53 26.844, E5 47.788.

A long, horizontal beam on this first location has several red and green signs with numbers on them on it.
Add the first two numbers (as seen from left to right).
Multiply this value by 10 and then add 558. This gives you value 'A'.
Now add the third and fourth signs' numbers, and multiply this also by ten.
Then add 676 to this value, and you get 'B'.

Next stop: N53 26.A E5 46.B.

The Sea provides the jutters with a lot, but can demand a huge tol. On the second location we are confronted with the tol of the most heroic job on the island.
You will have to note the year of death on the black gravestone. Note; we know you likely can't read the causes of death on the stones, but if you look at the exact coordinates you should be standing right in front of a black gravemarker...

Year of death + 5300 = C. Year of death + 5374 = D.

Proceed to N53 2C E5 4D.

On this third location you will see a massive gift from the sea, Read the information sign to find the cache location. Soon a 'paal' is mentioned. Note down the value which is inscribed on this paal.
Ignore the comma so you end up with a three digit number.

Number minus three = e. Number plus 506 = F.

You will find the cache on N53 27.e E5 47.F.

Look at the tip for the exact location!

Note: since you will have to read some Dutch signs, this cache is extra difficult for non Dutch natives... But you like a challenge, right?
